Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

This Privacy Policy describes how Medic Supplier (“Company,” “we,” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information gathered from our visitors and customers (collectively, “Customer,” “you,” or “your”) through the use of our website.

Medic Supplier is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to third parties in any manner inconsistent with what is disclosed in this statement. Medic Supplier may collect information from customers at several points throughout our website, as necessary to provide our services, as outlined below.

Cookies

There are two types of cookies relevant to your web browsing experience. Neither type contains personally identifiable information.

The first is a Session Cookie — a temporary cookie that your browser sets automatically to facilitate communication between your device and our server. This cookie is automatically deleted when you close your browser session on the Medic Supplier website.

The second is a Persistent Cookie — a small piece of data stored locally on your device that helps enhance your overall browsing experience. Medic Supplier generally does not rely on persistent cookies for core site functionality. However, these cookies may be used to provide a more personalized experience based on the products you have shown interest in and how you choose to use our services.

Persistent cookies used by Medic Supplier may track how and when you first discovered our website, including the page on which you first landed. Additionally, third-party cookies — such as those from Google and Facebook — may be set to help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising efforts.

Customers also have the option to use cookies to streamline login and customize their account control panels where applicable.

Information Collected During the Order Process

We collect information from customers through our order forms. To process and service your account, you must provide contact information — including your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number — and, depending on your payment method, financial information such as your credit card number, expiration date, or bank account details. Your IP address is also recorded within the billing system. This information is used solely for billing purposes and to fulfill your order. If we experience difficulty processing an order, we will use the contact information provided to reach you.

We use a high-grade SSL certificate to securely encrypt all information submitted through our website. Credit card information is stored in encrypted form. Please note that CVV codes are never stored by Medic Supplier.

Log Files

Our servers automatically collect certain information from your browser, including your IP address. We use IP addresses to analyze traffic trends, understand how visitors navigate between pages, and gather broad demographic data — such as browser type — for aggregate use only. IP addresses are not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Sharing of Information

Medic Supplier does not share personal information with outside parties except as described below.

Credit and Payment Card Processors — Like all businesses that accept credit card payments, Medic Supplier uses a third-party payment processor to bill customers for goods and services. We transmit only the minimum required information to the payment processor, which includes your name, card number, expiration date, and billing zip code. We do not forward any additional personally identifiable information to these processors.

Legal Compliance — Medic Supplier will comply with all applicable state and federal laws and will respond to lawful requests, including court orders and subpoenas. Where permitted by law, we will notify affected customers of any such requests.

Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These sites maintain their own independent privacy policies, and Medic Supplier accepts no responsibility or liability for their content or practices. We encourage visitors to review the privacy policy of every website that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected through Medic Supplier’s own website.

Newsletter

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we will ask for basic contact information, including your name and email address. You may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions included in any newsletter email.

Surveys and Contests

From time to time, we may invite visitors or customers to participate in surveys or contests. Participation is entirely voluntary. Information requested may include contact details such as your name and address, as well as demographic information such as zip code and age. Contact information will be used to notify winners and distribute prizes. Survey responses will be used to monitor and improve the quality and usability of our website and services.

Security

Medic Supplier takes every reasonable precaution to protect visitor and customer information, both online and offline.

All sensitive information submitted through our website — including credit card numbers — is encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology. When you are on a secure page, such as our order form, the padlock icon in your browser will appear locked. Medic Supplier ensures that SSL encryption is active across all pages of our website at all times.

In addition to online security measures, we also restrict access to personal information within our organization. Only employees who require access to personal data in order to perform their specific job functions are granted such access. All employees are regularly reminded of our security and privacy standards. Any updates to our policies are communicated to staff promptly. Personal data is stored on secure servers maintained in a protected environment.

Medic Supplier’s website and services are not intended for, nor designed to attract, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.

When paying by credit card, you will be required to enter your CVV code upon initial payment. This code is not stored by Medic Supplier and will only be requested once.

Special Offers

All new account holders will receive a welcome email containing their account information. Existing customers may occasionally receive communications about new products, services, or promotional offers. We respect your privacy and provide the option to opt out of these communications at any time.

Correcting, Updating, or Deleting Personal Information

If your personally identifiable information changes — such as your phone number or email address — or if you no longer wish to use our services, we will make every effort to provide a means for you to correct, update, or remove your personal data from our records. To make such a request, please contact us at info@medicsupplier.com or call us at +1 (561) 325-7000.

Customer Information and Privacy — GDPR

New European Union Data Protection laws (GDPR) became effective May 25, 2018. While GDPR specifically governs the processing of EU customers’ personal data, Medic Supplier has taken this opportunity to review and strengthen our data privacy practices across our entire customer base. As a result, you may see references to GDPR throughout this Privacy Policy.

Medic Supplier will handle all Customer Information in accordance with industry best practices and will not sell or transfer Customer Information to third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances. Medic Supplier may use Customer Personal Information as necessary to perform its services and, unless the customer has opted out in writing, to communicate relevant marketing information.

With respect to Personal Data provided by or through customers in the course of doing business with Medic Supplier, the following terms apply:

(1) Both parties agree to comply with their respective obligations under applicable Data Protection Laws.

(2) The parties acknowledge that customers may serve as both a data subject and a data controller. When a customer submits personal data to Medic Supplier, they are a data subject. When a customer uses Medic Supplier’s services to handle their own customers’ data, they act as a data controller. Medic Supplier may act as both a data processor and data controller depending on the context.

The scope, nature, and purpose of data processing by Medic Supplier is as follows:

(a) Medic Supplier processes customer data for the purpose of providing data or application hosting services to customers and, indirectly, to their end users.

(b) Medic Supplier does not control what personal or non-personal data customers collect from their own customers. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to maintain appropriate Data Protection guidelines and to keep their applications secure and up to date.

(3) Customers acknowledge that Medic Supplier has no control, involvement, or responsibility regarding the type or use of data submitted by customers, their employees, contractors, agents, or end users. Medic Supplier provides data storage and transmission services only and does not manipulate, select, order, search, or monitor personal data beyond what is necessary for the provision of services.

(4) By using our services, customers consent to the lawful processing and transmission of Personal Data to Medic Supplier in accordance with this Agreement. Customers are responsible for ensuring that all necessary consents and legal bases are in place. Consent may be withdrawn at any time; however, Medic Supplier cannot provide services without the necessary consent.

(5) In relation to Personal Data processed under this Agreement, Medic Supplier shall:

(a) Process Personal Data only as required for the performance of services or as directed in writing by the customer.

(b) Comply with applicable EU or member state laws requiring the processing of Personal Data, and notify the customer before doing so unless prohibited by law.

(c) Maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, loss, or accidental destruction.

(d) Ensure that all personnel with access to Personal Data are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not disclose such data except as required by law or the terms of this Agreement.

(e) Not transfer Personal Data outside the European Economic Area without the customer’s prior written consent, except as required for service delivery through standard internet infrastructure.

(f) Assist the customer, at the customer’s expense, in responding to data subject requests and in meeting obligations related to security, breach notifications, impact assessments, and regulatory consultations.

(g) Notify the customer without undue delay upon becoming aware of a material Personal Data breach, and take reasonable steps to prevent further disclosure and mitigate impact on affected individuals.

(h) Upon written instruction from the customer, delete or return Personal Data at the end of the Agreement, unless retention is required by applicable law.

(i) Maintain appropriate records to demonstrate compliance with applicable Data Protection Laws.

(j) Make available to the customer such information as is reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with Article 28 of the GDPR, subject to reasonable prior notice, confidentiality requirements, and minimal disruption to business operations. Costs associated with such audits will be billed at Medic Supplier’s standard rates.

(6) Medic Supplier maintains a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO) in both the US and EU as the primary point of contact for all data privacy and protection matters.

(7) If Medic Supplier determines that a customer’s instruction violates Data Protection Laws, it may suspend execution of that instruction until the customer confirms compliance or issues revised instructions. The customer agrees to indemnify Medic Supplier for any liability arising from compliance with the customer’s instructions.

(8) Customers must promptly notify Medic Supplier of any identified deficiencies in their own or Medic Supplier’s compliance with applicable Data Protection Laws.

(9) Customers are responsible for maintaining a public register of processing activities in accordance with Article 30(1) of the GDPR.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern related to this Privacy Policy, we ask that you first contact Medic Supplier directly with full details of the issue. Any disputes that remain unresolved after direct contact will be resolved through binding arbitration as the sole and exclusive remedy.

Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

As a data Controller, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold Medic Supplier harmless from any losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, expenses, or fines — whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, direct or indirect — resulting from:

  • The customer’s breach of its Data Processing obligations, and
  • Any unsuccessful claim by a data subject in which both the customer and Medic Supplier are held jointly and severally liable under applicable Data Protection Laws.

Notification of Changes

Medic Supplier reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page along with a revised effective date, so that customers can remain informed about what information we collect, how we use it, and the circumstances under which we may disclose it.

If we decide to use previously collected personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from what was stated at the time of collection, we will notify customers by email. Customers will have the opportunity to choose whether their information is used in the new manner. All information will be handled in accordance with the privacy policy that was in effect at the time it was collected.
